A spark for your imagination
A turn for every storyteller
A memory in your own voices
Less setup. More “once upon a time.”
You don’t need a script or a brilliant idea.
The next card is
all you need.
Choose your storytellers and a theme. A character, a place, or a curious object gives you somewhere to begin.
Add the card to your tale, then pass the story on. Funny voices and unexpected ideas are very welcome.
Choose to record your session, then save and replay it. Or simply enjoy the moment with recording off.
One story. All your imaginations.
A little more imagination. A lot more connection.
The best part isn’t just the story. It’s finding out where someone else will take it.
Take turns building one shared adventure. You’re the storytellers; the cards are your starting point.
Gather around one device, or create an online room to tell a tale with friends somewhere else.
Record your story to keep the silly voices, surprising turns, and moments you’ll want to hear again.
A few things you might be wondering
A storytelling game for families and friends. You draw illustrated prompt cards and take turns weaving them into one story. You make the adventure; Naratale helps you get started and keep it going.
No. There’s no script to memorize and no right answer. Start with one sentence about the card you draw. The next storyteller adds their idea, and your tale grows from there.
Recording is optional. Play just for fun with it off, or turn it on to save and replay your story afterwards. Stories played without a recording are not saved in My Stories.
Naratale accounts are for players aged 13 and over. Players under the age of majority need a parent or guardian’s permission. Read our Terms and Privacy Policy for the details.
Naratale is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Until then, try the little card example above to get a feel for how a story begins. Have a question? Get in touch.
